Surveys going out next week.

I'm in recovery from working at a nearly week long convention in Las vegas (Star Trek Vegas) and caught a nasty cold during it. I'm doing the rest and rehydrate thing but finishing up the item breakdowns and survey questions to get those out next week. I'm shooting for Wednesday so that people can work on them while i'm at a Texas convention for work (Supernatural Austin).
Pins are in production and i'm also finishing up a few additional designs for things that will be on the add on's section when you complete your survey. Nows a great time to go follow us on backerkit where the surveys will be coming from, and let me know in the comments here if there are any quotes, characters, or anything else that you would like to see as part of the add on shop.
btw, Have you listened to the Soundbooth theatre Immersion tunnel recording of the first book? You can listen to the first big chunk of it for free on Soundbooth here. It has extra scenes, music there is like, a whole Sports Center vibe with recaps, it's so great. Throw it on while you deal with the hoard lady sized pile of clean laundry that has been waiting to be folded.

47 of you helped makes some amazing pins come to life this month and im ever thankful for your support.
So what's next?
Kickstarter is going to take a couple weeks finalizing payments and in that time I will be over on backerkit putting together the surveys and add on items for you all.
Once they give me the green light, surveys will go out where you'll be able to pick all the options for your items as well as add any additional swag that I'll be putting together in that time as surprise items!
Thank you again so much for bringing these to life. We've been huge fans of the series since the first book and seeing how much the community has grown over this time and the journey Matt has been on as well as Jeff has been wild and awe inspiring.
Some of you may have come over from reddit this past 24hrs. Welcome and thank you too. With Matt's approval I posted it in the reddit thinking maybe a stray pledge or two would come over and instead it unlocked a shocking 3 additional pins in that time. I look forward to slipping him more enamel pins like contraband the next show we happen to cross paths at.
All that being said, im going to rest, draw, eat curry pizza and get to work in the morning. ^_^

At this moment im boarding a plane to head to litrpg con in Denver for a weekend of Dungeon Crawler shenanigans! Im hoping to get some additional backers but as it stands we are juuuust over the 2500 mark to unlock another pin!
I need to upload the design tonight once im settled in to the hotel after vendor setup but we'll be unlocking the Samantha design if it holds at 2500!

We have hit another unlock number, which means that we get to produce another pin! This one is a bit special.
As you can see from the inspiration photo, the pin will be multi layered. The metal will have a recessed wave pattern and raised outline in antiqued gold. After it is struck, it will then be filled with a translucent glue resin to bring the pin to all one layer like the waves themselves are under water. This is an homage to Zev's Kua-Tin (tiny, water-breathing humanoid fish) background.
We really hope that the levels stay above the $1600 mark because these will be absolutely beautiful in person.

Y'all got the production costs covered in 8 minutes for the first 4 pins and that is amazing! To get to give these designs the high quality hard enamel treatment is an honor and I can't wait to get them to you. <3

We have 3 additional pins that get to be made now as well!
each 1.5" with silver plating.
The you will not break me is a simple straight forward design of Carl's popular quote, the "Stay Frosty Boys" is one of our favorite quotes from frost maiden Elle McGibbons, and the "CRAWLER" is a take on a motorcycle name badge with black and white enamel.
This coming week we'll be posting some additional add on items that are book accurate iron on patches. The goal is to have all of the designs finalized for an entire cosplay option of all of the patches up to book 7 so stay tuned for that!
